The chocolates were amazing. Brought many smaller sets back to NYC for friends and family. However, something very disgraceful happened when we were there.

The attendant, a dark curly haired young lady was attending us and tried to rip us off by charging us the wrong price. About 10 Euro more per box. The boxes were the 17 Euro ones. Since she said that she spoke “no English”, I had to use my broken French to ask her why the price was so High. She tried to convince me that it was the correct price. The other attendant, an older sweet lady, came by and gave her a look. The I proceeded to show her the price in the display case. She said. “Oh, it was a calculation mistake.” I smiled and got the difference back.

I’m never returning again. This was an insult.

I stopped in and picked up a box of chocolates. I was perplexed as to why all the chocolates were flowery flavors. Tasting them was hard to decipher which ones were which. I brought them back to California with me and I found them delicate and floral, but nothing impressive. Wasn’t my favorite box, but across the way is Jean-Charles Rochoux and I was thoroughly impressed with their artistry, flavor and price. The Cigar flavor was my favorite find in Paris!
