This hotel, named after the author of “Le Mariage de Figaro” and “Le Barbier de Seville” is very close to the Place des Vosges and the Rue de Rivoli (which can be very busy but double paned windows block out much of the noise). Excellent service, beautiful decor including copies of 18th century murals. Small yet elegant rooms, very “French” atmosphere. Try to get a room with a balcony overlooking the street.

I will soon visit Paris in July, 2008 and it will be my first time visiting Paris. I found your website very informative. For the accommodation, I like hotel with similar style as “Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais” but unluckily, they just replied my e-mail and said that the rooms are full. I am so upset and I tried to leave message to you. It will be great if you can recommend some hotels with similar style and located in safe area. Thousands thanks for your help! I look forward to hearing your reply soon~
