The hotel’s motto is “Guest service is our top priority – nothing will be spared to make your stay as pleasant as possible.” And they do everything they can to keep this promise. The hotel has recently been renovated, and even includes a private garden where guests can relax over breakfast or an afternoon drink. It’s a good value for a lovely hotel in this sought after arrondissement.

Hotel de Varenne was a wonderful experience! I love the area where the hotel is, the 7th district, full of “gourmet” restaurants:
Chez les anges, Bd de la Tour Maubourg; choice sweetbreads, langoustine ravioli, and rabbit. The wine list includes small vineyards from Burgundy (Bourgogne)and is affordable
Chez l’ami Jean, rue Malar; Dishes include Bayonne ham; herb-laden Béarn-influenced vegetable soups; confit of duck with small sautéed potatoes; and fine slices of veal with fresh herbs, onions, red peppers, and a light tomato sauce
L’Affriolé, also rue Malar
And there are many more.
Our room was very tastefully decorated. Our bathroom had separated toilette and shower and this was very convenient.
The front desk was very helpful, we couldn’t figure out how many languages they speak.
In general the manager and the staff were very helpful in making dinner reservations and answering questions in English and are so friendly.
The hotel reflects all that is marvellous about Paris charming discrete, understated style.
The hotel added greatly to a very successful break away for us.
